I hope we play as well as we can but realistically we know that Ronaldo will score 1 and the ref will definitely give the a penalty, dodgy sending off, crap var decision anyway some sort of direct advantage as well as the usual decisions going their way all day. Then add Lingard because we know how that will work out. So let's hope we score 5 in the first half and carry on despite the above, COYI

Don't forget we are playing against 11 players three match officials and a VAR man.
So 2 -1 to West Ham with two penalties for them (one saved) and two perfectly good goals ruled out for us

This is one of my favourite matches of the season, there really is something special about a West Ham V Manchester United game, they really can go any way. But the atmosphere at the game always seems to be at another level to most of the other games.
I have a really good feeling we are going to win this 2-1.

This one last season was really frustrating - should have been 3 up, with Haller being particularly wasteful. Then the Pogba equaliser after the ball was 2 yards out of play.
Really that game could have been the difference between CL qualification and EL.

Is this the fall that follows pride?
Like many on here, I've been following the team for long enough (there will undoubtedly be a claim that proves the opposite along soon) to not keep those hopes high for too long.
Again, a good showing will be the minimum to help me allay my fears - you just know, though, that whatever the outcome, everything in and on the media will be about how the visiting United performed.
Probably safer to put my money on us being the first game on MotD2.

Charley, ted, all..
Will be a difficult game of course, but certainly not a game we can't come away with something from. They couldn't beat Soton away recently, and were put to bed by Young Boys on Wednesday night. Antonio will be a big miss. Looking forward to it, regardless.

Martin Atkinson is one of the top refs I have a lot of time for so hopefully he has a good game. Pity Antonio out but I still think we can get something from this one. Up the HAMMERS!

Read a rumour that Benrahma is only 50/50, not sure if he would be starting anyway but seeing as 6 of our 10 goals came from him or Antonio, then add in the assists in the other 4 and think he and Antonio were the providors for at least 2 of those....................going to be big miss!
Still think we can do it, if young Boys can beat them surely we can?

Only thing with Antonio being out is that Maguire is one of the few defenders in the league that can cope with him. Going to be interesting to see how they cope with a front three that will probably interchange a lot.
Very much doubt Ole has any idea how our attackers will line up, hopefully Moyes does.

Losing Antonio is a blow, but if my memory is correct we ran circles around them in the first half last season with Haller up front. Feeling worryingly optimistic about this...
